At the start of your rental, before you drive the vehicle, fully inspect the vehicle and mark up any damage that you notice (both on the interior and exterior) on the damage report provided as part of your Rental Agreement.

Where damage is noticed on or in the vehicle but not reported on the damage report, mark the damage on the report and show the car rental company representative in person to obtain their acknowledgement of the damage on the damage report before leaving the rental depot.

You may also choose to additionally take photos or video or the existing damage before leaving the rental car depot.
