Only persons named on the rental agreement are insured to drive the vehicle. Additional drivers can be nominated, and are charged a fee per day to cover the cost of additional insurance. This amount varies depending on the rental company. It can be anywhere between $10 - $20 per day, excluding taxes and surcharges.
For some of our suppliers, the following are exempt from paying the fee providing they meet all other driver requirements: spouse, domestic partner, employer, employee, designated driver of a renter with a disability. For more details you can contact our Customer Care Team.
