Most car rental companies do allow you to take your rental car abroad, but it depends on the pick-up location and the type of vehicle you've rented. Generally you will need to pay a cross-border fee, and you may be required to take out additional insurance cover. A daily fee may also apply for taking your car abroad.
When you take your vehicle on the ferry it will generally not be covered if any damage occurs at this stage. If you need more information, please contact our team at firstname.lastname@example.org.
